Thanks Doug and Grape Vine Cottage....

For letting me display Friday night. It was very windy and hopefully everyone had a good time. We had to bug out early due to the SEVERE THUNDERSTORM, but had a great time. Hopefully we can do it again next year in better weather!

What a week!

Sorry about missing lst week but I have been busy working on a possible grant. I did paint in Zionsville Sat and have two pieces in the Sullivan-Munce Gallery through the end of the month. I also particpated in the Gallery Walk on Friday night. Thanks to those who came out and made purchases. If any of you are interested in pieces that I had on display please drop me a line at jmknight77@aol.com, or reply to this blog.

My commission was a success and I hope to hear from Mark soon as to whether his wife enjoyed the gift/painting! Happy Birthday Lori!

Here is a pic of the final piece.

I will post pics of Z'ville when I get them. In the mean time here is a pic of a few mini's I painted last week. Thanks Jacki for the commission!

Here comes Summer!

The 54th and Monon Art Fair started off VERY wet but by 2pm the sun was out and so were the people. I sold several of my mini canvases and now have 25 pieces of art in the "Ceramic Dreams" gift shop. Check it out if you can 54th and the Monon Trail, Indianapolis IN.

Here is my latest experiments. I have a commission to paint a field of purple irises. So I have been practicing....
