Next Open Studio Painting class 12/1

Ok folks now that the Holiday show is over we are getting back into routine. So the next Studio Painitng class will be Thurs 12/1 4-8pm. It is a bit earlier so you can get some pieces painted before teh holiday in case they are presents. Be sure to email me by Wed 11/30 if you will be attending. Reminder $20 per hr two hr min I supply paints and 11x14 canvas unless otherwise confirmed. Thanks and see you Thursday!

WHAT A NIGHT!!!

Tanks to everyone who was a part of the show and to those who helped in making it a success. A HUGE thanks to all who attended. Especially all those who were new to the Stutz! So many new faces meant we are reaching a even larger audience. I am hopeful these new patrons will continue to support us and our work. I will try and post some pics when I get them down loaded.

I am hosting a group from the IMA in my studio Sept 9th. I will be demonstrating the finger painting technique while discussing my art. So what should I paint? Sunflowers- Poppies- Water Lilies- Window Box - or ???

Hot Hot Hot

It has been so hot outside that plein air painting for me has come to a screeching halt! I miss being outside painting and wish we could get a break. In the mean time I am working on a few new pieces indoors. Hopefully will be outside again soon.

Women of a Certain Age: the skin your in!

I will be working on a show and project this Oct with a group of women "of a certain age". We will be concentrating on new art work that celebrates/explores why each of us are comfortable in our skin. In doing this we are also working on a calendar and/or book which will feature us in our "art skin". I will be doing some figure work which is outside the box for me, but will be putting my finger painting spin on it. I started a piece and like it's direction so I will post pics soon. Color of Music!

I will be in the studio tomorrow from noon to 5 and at our gallery show in Stutz ArtSpace "Color of Music" from 5-9pm.
