Happy New Year! Are you ready to Paint???

I am taking a survey to see how much interest there is in painting classes.  As many of you know I have been teaching the finger painting technique for over 7 years now.  Let's say I was "Wine n Canvas" before it was a popular business.  My classes are more intimate. (max 10ppl)  I supply everything for you to paint a 11x14 canvas board for $40.  You supply the wine and friends.  I know there is some interest for individuals who like to paint but cannot get a group together.  So what I am looking to find out is A) how many are interested in doing a group or individual class.  B) weeknights or Saturday mornings/afternoon which is better?  C) types of images you would like to paint? landscapes, abstract, contemporary? Any other side tips you are willing to offer.  I would like to begin by opening my studio on Thursday evenings 4-8pm for those who want to paint without getting a group together. $40 two hour session. I will post a calendar with images being taught each night. You will need to confirm space and give cc# for confirmation.  I would like to start the classes beginning Jan. 9th painting the Blue Hydrangeas or Last Glass.  Any feedback is appreciated!

Holiday Show Friday Dec 6, 6-9pm

Dec 6 will be a very busy night at the Stutz!  Our annual Holiday Show will feature 35 artists in their studios for you shopping pleasure.  The Gallery will be featuring the Splendid Menagerie and the IDADA First in Line.  Bearcats will be open for appetizers and dinner.  Music and libations will be throughout the event.  If that wasn't enough there will be lots of raffles to win prizes too!  Finally, as a thank you to all of my patrons, I will be donating a portion of my sales to the Gleaners "$1 feeds 5 People" campaign to help others have a Merry Christmas too.  So get out your red marker and circle the date on your calendar you will not want to miss it!  Curious to what I have been doing this past fall?  LOTS of commissions!  Here are a few pics....

Make Me an Offer!

In celebration of my SEVENTH year at the Stutz I will be hosting a special First Friday Oct 4th.

Make me an offer I can't refuse!  That is right, any of my paintings 8"x10" or larger will be available.  So this is your chance to remove that psychic hold and take the piece home, but leave the cannole.  By doing this favor for me I will be able to have wall space for new work coming up for the Open House in April 2014.  I will be in my studio D285 this Friday 10/4 from noon until ???  I will also post some pictures throughout this week that you can PM me if you are not local or cannot make it Friday.  All reasonable offers will be respected.  Here are just a few of the pieces available.... Village of Winona Art Fair was a Fun Success!

Just home for a Crazy weekend at Winona Lake. Thanks to Ryan and the rest of the crew for a great show and keeping our tents from blowing into the lake!  The storms may have dampened our spirits a little but the folks in the area came out to enjoy the art.  Sunday was a better day and people were ready to collect new art.  I even had some young 9 yr old collectors!  The animated faces and smiles from people who realized I paint only with my fingers was priceless!  I love that new banner, not sure why I never had it until now?  Oh Well,... I BIGGGGG THANKS to Amanda and Dan for letting me stay with  you and I hope you enjoyed the dinner.  I may have a return call for my big Poppy Fields so if I have to deliver it will definitely stop in to say hi and maybe do some painting on the lake.  So wish me luck friends that they call to have me come up!
There are lots of paint outs this summer and commissions to work on. So I will be posting alot more of what is happening.  Happy Father's Day to all of the Dad's out there!  Cheers!
