Beginning 9Years at the Stutz!

Can you believe it???!!! I am going into my 9th year at the Stutz Business and Art Center!  Join me this Friday to celebrate and so I might Thank all of you for supporting me all this time.  My studio will be open from 2-9pm.   There is a show in the Galley "Gimme Sugar" and  up to 18 other artists will also have their studios open.  So come over and check out some amazing artwork and have a piece of cake!  You never know, you may find something to fill that empty space on your wall... :)

IT'S HERE!!!!

Yes, The RJ Stutz Open House is tomorrow night!  Boy I wasn't sure if I would be ready in time, but prayers were answered and I made it!  Finished a large piece last night to top off a month of preparation.  There will be lots of food, music and most importantly ART!!!  Where else can you see over 70 artists, 20 businesses and all indoors. (predicting to rain Sat.)  If you didn't know, I am in studio D285, west building off the "Car Room".  I believe I am the only artist on my floor open so PLEASE come see me and tell your friends to come my way.

PARKING IS FREE! and we can use the IUPUI Health lot outside my window between 10th and 11th on Senate Ave.

Really 6 more weeks of Winter?

Don't be down! You can still get out and take finger painting classes!  Get your girls together and bring them to the studio Thursday evenings for some art fun.  Two hours and $40, you will be able to take home your masterpiece.  If your friends prefer brunch on Sat, send me a message and we can work something out.  Could be the perfect gift for those couples looking for a way to express their love this Valentines day!  However you look at it Painting is fun and

a great way to break away from the cold and snow...

A taste of Italy here in INDY (Fishers)

I love it when independent businesses support our local art scene.  You will be able to see my Tuscan work and the best pizzeria - Passione Pane Wood Pizza and Bread.  It is a small pizzeria at 116th and Brookschool Rd (Fishers IN) but the food is just like the pizza we had in Tuscany.  I love that the first thing you see is the wood oven.  No frills, just pizza made with love that you can taste in every bite!  PLEASE support this new independent business, who in turn supports the community.  Oh, and if you want great bread for your homemade soup, then grab a loaf here as well!  you will not be disappointed!

First Painting of 2015

Went back to basics and water. Playing with fall colors too. I may offer this as a class. Should be fun to paint. Let me know what you think.

First Jingle Stop Holiday Show at the Stutz!

Friends I hope to see you tonight for the chance to have a fun night of art, food and entertainment.  The will offer photos with Santa (get your wish list in early!) Sun King Beer, and special offerings at the Car Room Bar/Bearcats.  I will have lots of pieces at discounted prices so you can stay within your shopping budget.  If you want to create your own masterpiece to give this holiday email me for class times and dates.

As in years past I will also be giving a portion of my proceeds to charity.  This year I will be donating to F.I.D.O (Friends of Indianapolis Dogs Outside) You can read about there tireless work here: http://www.fidoindy.org/about-us.  This organization helps to educate owners of outside dogs in the best way to treat and care for their pet as well as offer assistance in giving their pets the best quality of life.  Right now they are gearing up for what may be another nasty winter.  They are in need of Dog Houses (new or gently used), straw and other items listed on their site.  Let's all give back to those fur buddies who love us unconditionally.

Painting Classes!

The holidays are coming so why not give from the heart and your FINGERS!  I will be offering the following images for group classes.  Evening or Saturday mornings between now and Dec 19th min group of 4 people. 
If you want to paint and it is only you, I will be offering certain images on Thursday evenings or Sat morning depending on interest.  Email me or call if you or your group are interested in taking a class!

Remember each class is $40 per person 11x14 canvas board and I supply everything.  All you have to  bring is a fun attitude!  See you soon!
