Hot Hot Hot

It has been so hot outside that plein air painting for me has come to a screeching halt! I miss being outside painting and wish we could get a break. In the mean time I am working on a few new pieces indoors. Hopefully will be outside again soon.

Studio Day!!!

Women of a Certain Age: the skin your in!

I will be working on a show and project this Oct with a group of women "of a certain age". We will be concentrating on new art work that celebrates/explores why each of us are comfortable in our skin. In doing this we are also working on a calendar and/or book which will feature us in our "art skin". I will be doing some figure work which is outside the box for me, but will be putting my finger painting spin on it. I started a piece and like it's direction so I will post pics soon. Great show and New Class in July

Thanks to all who came out last Friday to celebrate the Color of Music! I am also planning a possible Sunflowers class this month in my studio. I am looking at Thursday 7/21. Color of Music!

I will be in the studio tomorrow from noon to 5 and at our gallery show in Stutz ArtSpace "Color of Music" from 5-9pm. Since July 4th weekend is a major sale day in all of the stores, why not have one in the studio?! Stop in and check it out! It should be a beautiful day to take in art, downtown and the canal! First Friday AGAIN!

Join me this Friday 7/1 for First Friday at the Stutz. My studio will be open from 12-5pm and then you will find me at the gallery for our show "Color of Music" 5-9pm. My large "Reggae Music" will be featured in the show.
