Wow was it HOT at Wawasee this past weekend! Didn't get much done due to the heat. Thanks to Amanda and Dan for hosting me and Jon for the weekend. Here is a piece I painted in the 104degree heat... ;)
I am a painter who has recently sat down my brushes and started using the brushes God gave me... MY FINGERS! I love this new technique and cannot paint enough. Thanks Allen Montegue for teaching me. I have a studio at the historic Stutz Building in Indianapolis. There you can visit me every first Friday of the month. I love to travel and my favorite trip thus far has been Tuscany. Cheers!

Your painting turned out really nice. I like the boat being centered. I'm wanting to experiment with more centering in my compositions as well.
It is tough to paint in the heat and humidity. Did your paint stay moist longer? In Tucson it drys pretty fast.
